Working Health Services Scotland (Grampian) is a government funded initiative delivered by NHS GO Health Services providing free, confidential advice and health support to the self-employed and individuals employed by companies with less than 250 employees.
What We Do
The aim of this free and confidential service is to assist you remain at work or give advice to facilitate a return to work following a period of absence.
If you have a health problem affecting you through the working day, such as:
* pain and discomfort.
* stress and anxiety.
Working Health Services Scotland (Grampian) can provide rapid access to a range of local specialist health professionals including
Case Management – in-work support and advice, return to work advice
In addition we can offer, if appropriate access to the following interventions:
Physiotherapy – assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal pain and discomfort – up 4 free sessions
Counselling – provision of talking therapy in a safe, confidential environment to address emotional well-being. – up to 6 free sessions
Podiatry – assessment and treatment – up to 4 free sessions
Eligibility
– Must either live or work in Grampian.
– Must be self-employed or work for a small business of less than 250 staff.
– Can either be at work with a health condition affecting your job, or absent from work.
– Can be absent for any length of time.
