The aspects of our services you can access will depend on variety of factors, including where you work. Below is an outline of some of the main factors that we need to consider before we can offer you therapeutic support.

Counselling:

  • Available only to staff employed by NHS Grampian (NHS email required).
  • Available to staff only self-reporting wellbeing difficulties as impacting upon their workplace functioning.
  • Not available to individuals who have accessed a course of counselling from GO Health Services within * months.
  • Not available to individuals who are accessing a therapeutic intervention from a different service provider already.

High Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy & Clinical Psychology:

  • Available to NHS, Social Care Partnership, Voluntary & 3rd Sector Care staff in Grampian, Orkney and Shetland.
  • Available to staff only self-reporting moderate to severe wellbeing difficulties as impacting upon their workplace functioning.
  • Not available to individuals who are accessing a therapeutic intervention from a different service provider already OR those who have completed a course of psychological therapy in GOH within the past year.
  • Individuals who are unable to commit to a course of focused goal-orientated sessions, including practice outside of sessions, are advised to consider other therapeutic options.
  • Individuals who are requesting psychological support for adjustment to very recent life events, may be advised to consider other therapeutic options.
