Blood Tests & Screening > HIV Antibody

You may be required to have blood borne virus screening for HIV as part of pre-employment screening if you are to perform within an Exposure Prone Procedure (EPP) role. This test determines if you have ever been exposed to HIV.

In the event that this is found to be positive Occupational Health will help and support you in this instance. Please be aware that during infectious episodes of HIV, EPP (Exposure Prone Procedures) duties cannot be carried out and may result in redeployment or deferral.
